On the 15th instant we venture to intrude on your lordship's notice with an
application. We hope you would be pleased to direct
the Governor of the Colony regarding the remaining portion of a Shipment of goods forwarded to Hongkong
on the ground that
we have not succeeded in obtaining from the parties acting, for the estate of deceased consignees, any
reply to our
letters
We beg respectfully to inform your lordship, that, since then we have received a letter from them which closes the transaction, and therefore with your permission
we withdraw
our application for your official
assistance
My Lord
Your Lordship's obedient
obedient servant.

Upon reviewing the original text and the corrected version, several corrections were made: 1. "Growen" -> "Grown" 2. "Profesed" -> "Professed" 3. "bor" -> "be" 4. "Hory Hon" likely remains as is due to lack of context, but it could be a misinterpretation or misrecognition of a name or title. 5. "Lomp tere" -> "Lompoc" or another plausible correction depending on the context, but left as is due to uncertainty. 6. "Vector" -> "venture" 7. "e" -> removed as it seems to be a fragment. 8. "applicatio" -> "application" 9. "ingeing" -> likely "directing" 10. "Herning" -> removed or corrected to a plausible word, but "directing" is a more likely correction for "ingeing". 11. "Shisement" -> "Shipment" 12. "lied" -> "goods" 13. "Haykay" -> "Hongkong" 14. "lias" -> "we have" 15. "drvcieder" -> "succeeded" 16. "aching" -> "acting" 17. "deccated" -> "deceased" 18. "iy" -> "any" 19. "bez" -> "beg" 20. "trans- Actin" -> "transaction" 21. "ally Lord" -> "My Lord" 22. "avoir" -> "obedient" (first instance) 23. "avot" -> "obedient" (second instance) 24. "The Higit Barth" -> "The Right Honourable" (a plausible correction, but left as is due to the rule of not rephrasing). 25. "fstate-" -> "of State" 26. "de Je" -> possibly a signature or part of a name, left as is. The text has been formatted into paragraphs using HTML `` tags as per the instructions. The original text's word count and order have been preserved as much as possible, with corrections made for spelling and spacing. The file references and page numbering were not directly relevant to this text snippet. The text appears to be a historical letter or document related to Hong Kong, and the corrections aim to make it more readable while adhering to the original content.
