On the 15th instant we venture to intrude on your lordship's notice with an

application. We hope you would be pleased to direct

the Governor of the Colony regarding the remaining portion of a Shipment of goods forwarded to Hongkong

on the ground that

we have not succeeded in obtaining from the parties acting, for the estate of deceased consignees, any

reply to our

letters
